Olio Road Bridge over I-69 inches closer to completion
If you are a regular reader, you have probably seen my posts about a suburban bridge being constructed near the Indianapolis suburb of Noblesville. If you are a new reader, then direct your attention to this prior write up about it. I drive past this area twice a day on my commute to Pendleton, IN. So I get to see how fast it is moving along. They have laid the bridge deck and are quickly pulling together the last pieces to get this bridge opened. On either side will be a round about. I was invited out to take photos of the deck beam laying as they were alyed on April 5th in the evening, but my son being born only a couple days before, prevented that. So this is my latest post on this.
While it may seem odd that I am covering this project, it was really the first public construction project that I chose to inquire about photographing. Since I have a personal sense of gratification in seeing things through to the end, I will continue to cover this project until it opens; which I suspect will be soon.
