I swear, I could have been a politician, based only on the platform of need for the rail systems alot of it already in place, that needs to be utilized for commuters throughout the state. How "green", how GREAT, to be able to get on a train and go from B-town-Helmsburg-where-ever-to Indy,French Lick. For work-visits-doctors-entertainment. Why isn't there a bigger "push" for the electric run rails-rather than interstate-road construction, etc.? I'm with you and your wife Curt, while in Europe-years ago-the train was such an efficient, easy way to get almost EVERYWHERE!!!! The U.S. is supposedly so progressive in so many areas-why are we so lacking in "green" commuting???

I wish the MPO would look at a rail line connecting the new airport w/ Union Station using the I-70 ROW. There's built-in demand, an existing ROW corridor and a "wow factor" that isn't present in the Noblesville to Indy route (ho-hum).

Local commuter rail could be stimulated by intercity rail. Why not ride the train to W. Lafayette and/or Bton instead of driving?

Just found your website, was surprised by this post especially. Your photos of the station are great, very impressive skills. Haven't had time to read the whole series but looking forward to it.

I probably would have investigated the site earlier, but the website name was kind of confusing for me. "Street racing" is not something typically associated with good urbanism, but it's certainly a part of the culture in Indianapolis so I understand the attraction.
